We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Legal Secretary. As a Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our office and assisting with various legal and administrative tasks.


Office Assistance: Assist in day-to-day office operations, including managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, organizing files and documents, and ensuring the office runs smoothly.

Client Interaction: Act as a primary point of contact for clients on administrative matters, addressing their inquiries and providing assistance with professionalism and courtesy.

Calendar Management: Update and maintain calendars for attorneys and other staff members, scheduling appointments, meetings, and court hearings as required.

Phone Handling: Professionally answer and screen incoming calls, taking accurate messages and directing calls to the appropriate individuals within the firm.

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the lawyers and staff, and managing various administrative tasks as assigned.


Legal Background: Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role within a law firm or legal department is advantageous.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with clients, colleagues, and external parties.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to accurately handle legal documents, maintain records, and ensure error-free administrative support.

Technology Proficiency: Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal software or case management systems.

Applicants for this vacancy should possess proficiency in the Maltese and English Language.

Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and take on new responsibilities as needed.
The candidate must also be proficient in the Maltese and English language. Additionally, the candidate must be prepared to travel, either by foot or vehicle to fulfill specific tasks.

In terms of compensation, the offered salary will align with minimum wage standards.
