We are thrilled to announce some updates to the nomad residence permit that will enhance your experience living and working in Malta.
Increased flexibility with extended stay period starting from the 1st of April 2024;
You will now have the opportunity to apply for a renewal for a third time, allowing for a maximum stay of up to 4 years. This update opens doors for more Nomads to experience Malta. This is especially beneficial for sun, sea and Mediterranean atmosphere lovers as you will enjoy it for longer periods.
Further, the minimum annual gross income requirement for new applicants has increased. From 1st of April 2024, new applicants will need to demonstrate a minimum gross monthly income of Eur 3,500.
